The Swiss International Traumatology, Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery Academy (SITONA) was established with the aim of contributing to the active shaping of the future of medicine with the help of independent and neutral specialists. All activities focus on patients’ well-being and the work of doctors.
It is SITONA’s declared goal to create a network of doctors that will help develop new pioneering methods of healing as well as products, procedures and materials for use in the fields of traumatology, orthopaedics and neurosurgery.
The academy creates a framework for its members that is open, built on trust and respect and that allows members to exchange medical ideas and discuss clinical questions with each other.
SITONA’s range of performances is complemented and broadened through theoretical and practical training. The academy also provides intensive support and backing for scientific work being carried out by its members.
